Wilson's elegant style was recorded with many of the biggest names in jazz. Jo Jones (1911-1985) was a legendary drummer, band leader, and percussion pioneer. He also played with Count Basie, from 1934 to 1948. Lester "Prez" Young (1909-1959), a tenor saxophonist who became prominent with Count Basie's orchestra.
